Charlie Edwards praised the WBC for declaring his knockout defeat to Julio Cesar Martinez a no-contest.
The WBC flyweight champion was pounced on by Martinez in the third round and took a knee after a succession of painful body shots.
Edwards was counted out by the referee and a jubilant Martinez celebrated in his corner before replays sparked a chorus of boss from the O2 crowd.
Eddie Hearn immediately appealed to the WBC, with replays clearly showing Martinez landed a punch after Edwards had dropped to his knee.
Edwards branded Martinez a cheater, insisting the illegal body shot finished him off and spoke out on the controversial ending to the fight.
He said: We live to fight another day #ANDSTILL. It is not the way I would of wanted to retain my title, but it is what it is we live and we learn.

Martinez was a great fighter and I was hurt and thats why I took a knee to recover.
That body shot knocked the wind out of me but it was an illegal shot and I am blessed and grateful that Mauricio Sulaiman and the WBC made the right decision and made this fight a none contest.
I will sit down with my team and Eddie Hearn and find out what happens next. Thank you to each and everyone who cheered for me and showed me support I love you all and I will keep you all updated.
