Arsenal have refocused their efforts on signing Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser after seeing a bid rejected for Wilfried Zaha, reports say.
Crystal Palace turned down Arsenals £40million offer for Zaha and have insisted to the Gunners the forward is not for sale – unless they meet their £80m asking price.
Arsenals transfer budget is only £45m and Unai Emery has been forced to return for Fraser, according to the Daily Star.
The 25-year-old was linked with Arsenal at the start of the summer and is the clubs back-up option were they to fail in their bid to sign Zaha.
Fraser enjoyed an excellent 2018/19 campaign with Bournemouth, grabbing 14 assists in the Premier League, as well as seven goals.
The Scotland international is in the final year of his contract and had been tipped to run it down and join the club of his choice in the summer of 2020.
