The Egypt international has enjoyed a remarkable debut season with Liverpool after being signed in a £35million deal from Roma, scoring a stunning 31 Premier League goals.
Salah, 25, had previously endured a disappointing spell at Stamford Bridge, making just 13 league appearances for Jose Mourinhos side before being loaned out to Fiorentina and subsequently Roma.

However, after arriving back in English football with a bang, Salah was happy to prove his former club wrong.
When asked if he knew he would do as well as he has done at Liverpool, he responded: Yes, I think it from the first day I left the Premier League it was always in my mind that I would succeed here.

I didnt have my chance at Chelsea so it was very clear in my mind that I return back to the Premier League and I will show everyone my football.
