Henrik Mkhitaryan has added to Arsenals lengthening injury list after he suffered a metatarsal fracture during last weeks north London derby defeat.

Mkhitaryan, who joined Arsenal almost a year ago from Manchester United, has been an almost constant fixture in Unai Emerys preferred starting line-up this season but suffered a fractured metatarsal in his right foot and could now miss up to two months.
According to The Sun, the Armenia international suffered the damage following a flying tackle from Tottenham forward Lucas Moura.

The pair were involved in a challenge shortly before half time and the Arsenal winger failed to re-emerge following the interval and was not in the match day squad for Saturdays win over Burnley.

Emery is already short of defenders for the Boxing Day trip to Brighton with Rob Holding out for the season, while Nacho Monreal is due to undergo a fitness test after he limped off early on against Sean Dyches side.
Hector Bellerin is expected to miss out, however, but both Shkodran Mustafi, who has missed the last four games in all competitions, and captain Laurent Koscielny are likely to be in contention.
