Laura Whitmore is a fan of vegan and cruelty free brands and the secret behind her fresh-faced look definitely ticks those requirements.
The Love Island host, 34, has been making the most of her time in self-isolation due to the spread of coronavirus, by taking to her Instagram Live channel to share some expert secrets on how to achieve her signature looks.
One of those secrets came from her make-up artist Brooke Simons, who explains that vegan eye gel masks by Arbonne are the key to her wide-eyed fresh face glam.
Brooke explained how applying the £48 product which work out as £1.60 per set of masks as there are 30 sets in a pot, ‘soothe and cool on contact, transforming tired, puffy looking eyes’.

Brooke explains: “To create the perfect smokey eye it is so important to have a well primed lid.”
So after using the masks under the eyes, which contain superfood cocktail of antioxidants, omegas and phytonutrients which help soften the look of baby lines, she turns to choosing the eyeshadow.
“I always use Anastasia Beverly Hills Eye Primer and a selection of their individual shadows. I use a light/medium shade in the crease and blend a darker shade into the outer corner and up into the crease creating a seamless blend.
“It is important to only use a small amount of product at a time giving more control and a gradual build up,” so don’t go overboard on your first brushstroke!
Brooke adds: “I then pop a gorgeous shimmer shade on the lid and blend into the darker outer corner.
“With a smaller brush, blend the darker shadow under the lash line taking it about three quarters of the way. I use NYX Cosmetics Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk (a gorgeous bright white) to open up the eyes and lashing of Too Faced Mascara.
To finish off Laura’s chic glam look Brooke uses false lashes: “I add Ardell Beauty Wispie lashes to add drama to the final look and Soap Brows to the eyebrows for the perfect fluffy brow.”
Laura and Brooke have been working together for over a year now, and when the star went out to South Africa for Love Island, she explained that she’s not great at doing her own make-up which is why she often hires an MUA.
