Congress president Sonia Gandhi, her son Rahul and former PM Manmohan Singh skipped the swearing-in of Uddhav Thackeray, but congratulated him in separate letters. Sonia said the Sena, NCP and Congress had come together as the political atmosphere had become "poisonous" with Rahul echoing her sentiment.
