Israel Folau's Instagram page has disappeared on the eve of his first day in court.
The high-profile former Wallaby's profile on the social media platform went offline sometime early on Monday afternoon, less than 24 hours after a directions hearing into his unlawful sacking claim was due to start in the Federal Circuit Court in Melbourne.

Instagram was the platform on which the 73-Test dual international and conservative Christian published much of his religious messaging, including the April 10 post for which he was sacked by Rugby Australia.
