Football Federation Australia's campaign to host the 2023 Women's World Cup has ramped up with the release of the official bid logo and slogan, 'Limitless'.
The logo is a stylised outline of Australia, which also represents a "fluid passing motion" of the ball. It is a bold and striking departure from the last emblem for an Australian World Cup – the failed bid for the men's tournament in 2022, which featured two kangaroos in front of a sun.
It has been released at a critical time as nine separate bids jockey for the right to host the next Women's World Cup, which could be expanded from 24 to 32 teams.
Bid books are due for submission in October with a decision expected from FIFA in March next year.

The most recent edition of the tournament concluded on Monday morning (AEST), with the United States defeating the Netherlands 2-0 in the final to claim their fourth World Cup title and second in a row. France 2019 has been trumpeted as a breakthrough moment for women's football around the world, with previous TV ratings records smashed and general interest skyrocketing.
"The chance to play on home soil in 2023 would be a dream come true," said Matildas captain Sam Kerr. "The support we received in France was overwhelming and to have that in Australia, on a bigger scale, would be unbelievable."
Australia's bid faces competition from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa and a joint bid from North and South Korea for the 2023 hosting rights.
FFA chief executive David Gallop pointed to recent research which found the Matildas were the country's 'most loved' sports team as more evidence for the potential of a Women's World Cup in Australia.
"[It] demonstrates the passion the Aussie public has for womens football. This means we will fill stadia like never before for a FIFA Womens World Cup," Gallop said.
