
Andy Murray says he would be open to partnering up with Serena Williams in the Wimbledon mixed doubles after the 23-time Grand Slam winner hinted she would consider any offer from the Brit.
Having already found a mens doubles partner in Pierre-Hugues Herbert, Murray is still looking for a female partner at SW19 – with World No.1 Ash Barty the most notable person to turn him down.
Speaking on Saturday, Williams was asked if she would consider teaming up with Murray if her knee holds up and confirmed: Im available. Im feeling better now, so Im definitely available.

Asked if she was being serious or just tongue-in-cheek, she added: I mean, we just have to wait and see. I like to be tongue-in-cheek. Lets see how my knees going. Im finally doing good. I dont want to, like, go back.

Murray has previously been vague on whether he will definitely take part in the mixed doubles, but effectively confirmed his participation on Saturday and hinted that he would be willing to take up Williams on her offer.
