Maroons try disallowed…
That's controversial. Dylan Napa gets the rebound off the Cherry-Evans grubber and it's sent upstairs as a try. The video referee says he didn't get the grounding right. Line-ball that one… read about that one tomorrow. Blues still lead 8-0 as we get to the 30-minute mark.
A lot just happened in a very short space…
NSW looking electric as Cook carves them up, with Kaufusi saving the day with a brilliant try saver. Now Qld find themselves up the other end as DCE sets Gagai free on the wing, only for Haas to chase and make a try saver of his own. Now a Maroons penalty in front and they want the try, not the two. This is intense.

Changes for both sides…
Joe Ofahengaue on for the Maroons as they try to find some momentum through the middle. But Fittler counters with the man mountain that is Payne Haas. Good Lord he is immense that kid. Now Tedesco bombs one out wide, running when he needed to pass, but the Maroons are punch drunk at the moment.
Now there IS a try for the Blues!
The pressure was too much and it's the veteran Josh Morris that goes over near the corner. NSW just building and building for that and it was a Munster miss on Tedesco to set that up. The Blues up 6-0 now with a kick to come… Cleary nails it. It's 8-0 to NSW after 22 minutes.

Now a NO TRY for NSW…
Wasn't really a close thing, to be honest. Ponga fumbled the Cook grubber but Cherry-Evans and Morgan got to it before any Blues player. Worth checking but it's still 2-0 to the Blues. Qld defence looking a bit wobbly and they've done most of the defensive work
Now the Maroons go close!
Qld go 80m and Oates thinks he's got it down in the corner… but it's a NO TRY. Josh Addo-Carr with the try saver on the other wing for the Blues on Gagai and Oates just puts the foot on the line on the other wing. Now the Blues get the penalty out of their own end. Hard to keep up here at Suncorp.
