Jordan Henderson has earned huge praise from his Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after scoring his first goal of the season on Friday night.
The England international netted the Reds third in a 3-1 win at Southampton as they came from behind to go back to the top of the Premier League table.
Henderson came off the bench in the 59th minute and produced an assist for Mo Salah before scoring himself with just four minutes left on the clock.
Klopp cannot speak highly enough of the midfielder and has described how Henderson has replaced club legend Steven Gerrard at Anfield.

That goal meant so much to him and to us, Klopp told Liverpools official website. Hes just a fantastic boy. He deserves all the praise but he doesnt get too much of it,” said the manager.

Hendo, from my point of view, is a brilliant player. Hes our skipper, hes a fantastic character. If I had to write a book about Hendo, it would be 500 pages.
So Im very positive. The most difficult job in the last 500 years of football was to replace Steven Gerrard. In the mind of the people it was like if its not Stevie, then its not good enough.
And he has dealt with that outstandingly well so he can be really proud. Now we have to think of the future and he is a very important part of our team.
