Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for his sides superb performance against Napoli on Tuesday night and says goalkeeper Alisson even left him speechless.
The Brazilian, who was briefly the most expensive goalkeeper ever when he moved from Roma to Anfield, was required to make a number of important stops and none more so than to deny Arkadiusz Milik in stoppage time.
Liverpool held a 1-0 lead as time ran out, enough to progress to the next round of the Champions League, though a single goal for Napoli would have put the Italians through.
And Alisson repaid the massive fee Liverpool spent on him with a stunning stop to deny Milik, who was just a few yards out from goal, leaving even the usually talkative Klopp lost for words.

The goal Mo scored: what a goal. Unbelievable. And the save Ali made: I have no words for that, said the German at his post-match press conference.
WHAT. A. SAVE!

That was of course a life-saver tonight. Im really proud of what the boys did tonight.
He continued: It was not only one save. He had a lot of things to do tonight. How cool and calm he was with the ball, helps us a lot in our build-up situation, when he comes out for crosses hes outstanding.

And yes that save was just incredible, but if we dont defend the whole pitch today, Ali cannot make 20 saves like the last one. But he did it. Incredible. Unbelievable. Ive never seen something similar. But still he needs the other boys around.
Liverpool could have killed off the match far sooner having ripped though Napolis defence and created chance after chance, and Klopp was delighted with the improvement compared to their last meeting.
Everything changed in the game today, he continued. I said in a meeting before the game tonight, if the first game was good for anything then they cannot have an idea of who we are really. Because that was not us in Napoli. That was somebody else.

We could have made a six-hour meeting of that game – because we made so many mistakes – or we ignore it. We decided to ignore it actually and it gave the boys the chance to do better in the next game. So tonight we did everything we had to do and the boys played an outstanding game.
