
Robert Pires has urged Liverpool to revive their interest in France star Nabil Fekir before the transfer window closes next week.
Jurgen Klopp was close to securing a deal for Fekir earlier in the summer and the midfielder even underwent a medical with Liverpool.
But the proposed £53million switch to Merseyside fell through after Liverpool became concerned by a historic injury and asked Lyon to reduce the fee.

Liverpool have enjoyed a productive transfer window, signing Fabinho, Alisson Becker and Xherdan Shaqiri, and Klopp has said the clubs spending may be over for the summer.
But Arsenal and France legend Pires believes Liverpool should revive their interest in Fekir and try to land a last-ditch deal for the talented midfielder.

Fekir would be a good fit for the Premier League and a great signing for Liverpool, Pires told bwin.
