Salah, meanwhile, already has experience of having Alisson as a teammate as the pair played together at Roma before the Egyptian made the move to Liverpool last year.
And Liverpools latest signing admits Salah was keen for him to join Anfield.
We didnt have that much contact after he left Roma, Alisson told Liverpools official website.
We met again in the game when we were up against each other [in the Champions League last season].

Yesterday, he sent me a message saying: Hey, what are you waiting for? As the negotiations were at an advanced stage, I replied to him straight away saying: Calm down, Im on my way!
Im really happy to have the opportunity to play alongside him again.
